½ cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
1 pound fresh large shrimp, deveined with shells on

Steps:

  • Bring water, vinegar, and seafood seasoning to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Add shrimp and stir.
  • Reduce heat to medium, cover, and steam, stirring once or twice, until bright orange in color, 3 to 5 minutes. Drain.

Right amount ginger
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
0.5 tablespoon Sugar

Steps:

  • Ingredients: mantis shrimp (washed), minced ginger
  • Add 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce to the ground ginger.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar.
  • Add 0.5 tablespoon of sugar.
  • Mix thoroughly into a dipping sauce and set aside.
  • Then, put the cleaned mantis shrimp into the steamer
  • Then, cover and steam for 10 minutes.
  • Finally, open the lid and take it out.
