Best Garlic Bread Recipe - How To Make Garlic Bread image

The secret to really good garlic bread is to keep it simple. And to use a lot of garlic—4 cloves for one loaf! This recipe is the perfect side for our Spaghetti Bolognese...or really any Italian pasta dinner.

4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
1 baguette or French bread, cut lengthwise
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
2 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
1/4 c. grated Parmesan

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425° and line a large baking sheet with foil. Make garlic compound butter: In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, salt, and parsley until well combined.
  • Spread cut sides of bread liberally with garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Bake until bread is toasty and golden at the edges, about 10 minutes.

1/2 c. finely ground almond flour
2 tbsp. cream cheese
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. baking powder
Kosher salt 
1 large egg 
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
1 tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan
Marinara, warmed, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400° and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, add mozzarella, almond flour, cream cheese, garlic powder, baking powder, and a large pinch of salt. Microwave on high until cheeses are melted, about 1 minute. Stir in egg. 
  • Shape dough into a ½”-thick oval on baking sheet. 
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and Parmesan. Brush mixture over top of bread.
  • Bake until golden, 15 to 17 minutes. Slice and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
