Buffet Scrambled Eggs Recipe: How to Make It image

These are my favorite scrambled eggs. The white sauce, flavored with chicken bouillon, keeps the eggs creamy and moist. It's a tasty twist on a morning mainstay.

Number Of Ingredients 6

8 tablespoons butter, divided
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
4 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
16 large eggs, lightly beaten
Optional:Minced fresh parsley, tarragon and chives

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk and bouillon. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Set aside., In a large skillet, melt remaining butter. Add eggs; cook over medium heat until eggs begin to set, stirring occasionally. Stir in white sauce. Cook until the eggs are completely set. If desired, sprinkle with parsley, tarragon and chives.

I've been tweaking my recipe for a while now and I've finally found the best scrambled eggs ever! My friends and family love it, and I make it almost once a week before school.

2 eggs
2 tablespoons sliced Cheddar cheese
2 thin slices ham
1 teaspoon heavy whipping cream
½ teaspoon butter

Steps:

  • Whisk eggs together in a small bowl until smooth. Mix in Cheddar cheese, ham, and heavy cream.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in egg mixture; cook and stir until set but still moist, 3 to 5 minutes.
