1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 cup sugar
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 pounds prepared pizza dough
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1 cup confectioners? sugar
3 tablespoons whole milk, or more as needed

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 375?F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch pan with nonstick spray. 2. Make the Cinnamon Rolls: In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter with the sugar, flour, cinnamon and vanilla extract to combine. Set aside. 3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a ?-inch-thick rectangle. (It should be about 12 inches by 15 inches, but no need to be precise.) 4. Dollop the cinnamon filling all over the dough, then spread evenly to cover, reaching all the way to the edges. 5. Starting with the long side of the rectangle that's closest to you, roll the dough away from you into a tight spiral. When the dough is fully rolled, use a serrated knife to slice the dough into 9 even pieces (each about 1? inches thick). 6. Transfer the cinnamon rolls to the prepared pan, leaving space between them for the dough to expand. 7. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water to combine. Brush the egg wash onto the rolls, then transfer the baking dish to the oven. Bake until the rolls are golden and the filling is bubbly, 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes. 8. Make the Icing: In a medium bowl, whisk the confectioners' sugar with the milk and vanilla extract to combine. Drizzle the frosting over the slightly cooled rolls. Serve warm, immediately. Cooled rolls can be stored for up to two days and reheated at a low temperature in the oven (or in the microwave).

whole Pizza Crust (or You Can Use Thawed Frozen Bread Dough!)

Olive Oil

Salt And Pepper, to taste

Marinara Sauce

Grated Parmesan Cheese

Sliced Mozzarella Cheese

Jarred Pesto

String Cheese

Other Optional Ingredients: Pepperoni, Cooked Italian Sausage, Olives, Onions, Etc.

Extra Marinara Sauce, For Dipping

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Roll out the pizza dough onto a floured surface until it's a large rectangle. Smear with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Spread the surface with marinara sauce, then sprinkle generously with Parmesan. Lay a couple of layers of mozzarella slices all over the sauce. Smear pesto all over the cheese. Lay on any other pizza ingredients (pepperoni, etc.) that you'd like. Unwrap string cheese and lay it in a line at the top of the dough. Roll it toward you so that the string cheese winds up in the middle of the roll of dough. Slice into 1 inch pieces and place in a baking dish or iron skillet. Allow the rolls to rise for 20 minutes.Bake for 15 minutes, until the bread is golden and the fillings are bubbly. Remove and serve immediately with extra marinara sauce.

PIZZA HUT PAN PIZZA COPYCAT RECIPE | TOP SECRET RECIPES
The secret to perfect pan pizza is pressing the dough into a well-oiled pan (Pizza Hut uses soybean oil), then the pan is covered and the dough rises in a heated cabinet for 45 to 60 minutes. When the dough is topped, the edge is sprayed with a butter-flavored “food release” and the pie is baked at 500 degrees F until perfectly browned on top. You can use a 9-inch, 12-inch, or 15-inch deep dish pizza pan or cake pan for this recipe, and you’ll want to preheat your oven with a pizza stone in it to simulate the type of oven used at the chain. The hot ceramic surface of the pizza stone will cause the oil in the pan to cook the bottom of the dough so that it’s brown and crispy like an authentic pan pizza crust should be. I tried making the dough with cake flour, all-purpose flour, superfine “00” flour, bread flour and many combinations of these different flours which all contain varying amounts of gluten. I even tried rising the dough slowly in the refrigerator for various lengths of time as long as up to four days. But after a month of testing and about 30 pan pizzas later, I found the best dough to be straight bread flour, and to let the dough rise at room temperature.   • For the dough: Heat the milk, vegetable oil, and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat to just below a boil. Set aside and cool to warm. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit on the milk for 1 minute. Add 8 cups of the flour. Stir until just combined, then cover with a clean kitchen towel, and set aside in a relatively warm place for 1 hour. After 1 hour, remove the towel and add the baking powder, baking soda, salt, and the remaining 1 cup flour. Stir thoroughly to combine. Use the dough right away, or place in a mixing bowl and refrigerate for up to 3 days, punching down the dough if it rises to the top of the bowl. (Note: The dough is easier to work with if it has been chilled for at least an hour or so beforehand.) To assemble the rolls, remove half the dough from the pan/bowl. On a floured baking surface, roll the dough into a large rectangle, about 30 x 10 inches. The dough should be rolled very thin. To make the filling, pour 3/4 cup to 1 cup of melted butter over the surface of the dough. Use your fingers to spread the butter evenly. Generously sprinkle half of the ground cinnamon and 1 cup of the sugar over the butter. Don’t be afraid to drizzle on more butter or more sugar! Gooey is the goal.  Now, beginning at the end farthest from you, roll the rectangle tightly towards you. Use both hands and work slowly, being careful to keep the roll tight. Don't worry if the filling oozes as you work; that just means the rolls are going to be divine. When you reach the end, pinch the seam together and flip the roll so that the seam is face down. When you're finished, you'll wind up with one long buttery, cinnamon-y, sugary, gooey log. Slip a cutting board underneath the roll and with a sharp knife, make 1/2-inch slices. One log will produce 20 to 25 rolls. Pour a couple of teaspoons of melted butter into disposable foil cake pans (or regular 9-inch round cake pans) and swirl to coat. Place the sliced rolls in the pans, being careful not to overcrowd. (Each pan will hold 7 to 9 rolls.) Repeat the rolling/sugar/butter process with the other half of the dough and more pans. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cover all the pans with a kitchen towel and set aside to rise on the countertop for at least 20 minutes before baking. Remove the towel and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until golden brown. Don't allow the rolls to become overly brown.  While the rolls are baking, make the maple icing: In a large bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, butter, coffee, and salt. Splash in the maple flavoring. Whisk until very smooth. Taste and add in more maple, sugar, butter, or other ingredients as needed until the icing reaches the desired consistency. The icing should be somewhat thick but still very pourable. Remove the pans from the oven. Immediately drizzle icing over the top. Be sure to get it all around the edges and over the top. As they sit, the rolls will absorb some of the icing's moisture and flavor. They only get better with time… not that they last for more than a few seconds. Make them for a friend today!
