One of the most popular cocktails when the good weather approaches is the Margarita, a classic in many outdoor parties and one of the beverages that offers more options and combinations.Though there may be many ways of preparing the perfect margarita, OneHowto would like to show you how to make an easy margarita on the rocks, so you can get the real and authentic taste whilst you perfect your technique and impress your guests whenever you like.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1.5oz gold tequila
0.5oz Cointreau
1 oz Fresh lime juice
Coarse salt
Crushed ice
1 lime

Steps:

  • The first thing you'll need to do to prepare this margarita on the rocks is to pour the coarse salt on a clean working surface, use a wedge of lime to run it around the rim of the glass and then dip it in the salt so it sticks to it.
  • Next, fill the glass two thirds of the way with the crushed ice. If you haven't got any, you can crush normal ice with a blender or similar.
  • Mix the tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice and Cointreau well in a cocktail shaker.
  • Pour the mix over the ice in your glass. To give it the finishing touch, add a wedge of lime to the side of the glass. Now you can enjoy your perfect margarita on the rocks!

  • If you prefer a frozen Skinny Margarita, crush ice in a blender, then pour in ingredients
