2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed golden mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
1 package (20 ounces) frozen crinkle-cut french fries

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in soups. Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. , Arrange french fries on top. Bake, uncovered, until the fries are golden brown, 50-55 minutes.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 lb preferably Russets, peeled potatoes
1 cup white wine vinegar
5 cups up to 8 cups, for soaking water
5 cups up to 8 cups, for frying vegetable oil
to taste salt
chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Begin by cutting potatoes into ½ inch-wide strips using a waffle cutter.
  • In a large container, submerge your fries in water. Add vinegar and toss slowly.
  • Cover and set aside at room temperature for an hour. Submerging in water will prevent the potatoes from discoloration, while the vinegar will flavor your potatoes. Drain your potatoes and pat dry afterward.
  • Heat your oil to 300 degrees F. Blanch your fires in batches until fully cooked inside but not crispy, roughly 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Drain strips and set aside, while you finish the other batches, then turn up the temperature to 360 degrees F.
  • Deep fry in batches until your crinkle fries turn golden brown and crispy, roughly 5 to 7 minutes. Drain strips and set aside.
  • Season lightly with salt then serve.
