Have been making this for Christmas for more then 30 yrs. My kids & grandkids love it.

- 2bags butterscotch chips
- 1 can chow mein noodles
- 1 can party peanuts

Steps:

  • Melt butterscotch chips in microwave oven 20 seconds stir keep doing the 20 seconds until completely melted. add chow mein noodles & peanuts all together. Drops by spoonfulls on waxed paper let harden. ready to eat.

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chow mein noodles
1/2 cup salted peanuts

Steps:

  • In a microwave, melt chocolate and butterscotch chips, stir until smooth. Stir in chow mein noodles and peanuts until well coated. , Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.

  • Butter a 9-in. square pan with 2 teaspoons butter; set aside. In a large saucepan, combine the pectin, baking soda and water (mixture will be foamy). In another saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Bring both mixtures to a boil. Cook until foam on pectin mixture thins slightly and sugar mixture comes to a full rolling boil, about 4 minutes.
