- In a large mixing bowl, combine milk, vanilla pudding mix and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk thoroughly, breaking up any lumps, and refrigerate for at least 5 minutes, or until set. In another large bowl, combine heavy cream and vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside half of the mixture for topping the dish. Fold remaining half into the pudding mixture. Cover the bottom of a 3-quart trifle dish with vanilla wafers. Top with one-third of the pudding mixture. Cover with another layer of the wafer cookies—you may want to also stand some cookies up vertically, so you see the full circle along the edge of the trifle dish. Top with an even layer of banana slices. Continue layering the pudding, wafer cookies and banana slices until you reach the top, ending with a final layer of banana pudding. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or up to overnight. Sweeten the remaining whipped cream: Add sugar to whipped cream, stirring to combine. Just before serving, dollop on top of the banana pudding, then sprinkle crumbled wafer cookies on top.

Steps:
- Prepare pudding according to package. And let sit for the two minutes.
- Line bottom and sides of a 9 X 9 glass pan with Nilla wafers.
- To the banana pudding bowl, fold in 1/2 tub of cool whip whipped topping. Fold until completely blended.
- Pour 1/2 the pudding mix over the nilla wafers.
- Lay rows of banana slices over this.
- Place nilla wafers in between bananas, then top all this with remaining pudding.
- Make rows of nilla wafers and bananas by alternating wafer, banana, wafer banana.
- Top the banana slices with dollops of remaining cool whip.
- Refrigerate several hours before serving

- Make cheesecake filling: In a large bowl using a hand mixer or in a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat cream cheese until fluffy and no clumps remain. Add sugar and beat until combined. Add heavy cream and vanilla and beat until medium-stiff peaks form. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk. Let pudding stand for 3 minutes in the fridge until thickened. Fold into cheesecake mixture until combined. Pour half the filling into graham cracker crust. Add a single layer of sliced bananas and Nilla Wafers (20 total), then pour over remaining cheesecake mixture and smooth top. Refrigerate until cheesecake is firm, at least 6 hours and up to overnight. (If the cheesecake stills feels too soft to slice, transfer to the freezer for up to 1 hour.) Before serving, top with dollops of whipped topping around the border of the cheesecake. Top each dollop with a banana slice and Nilla wafer, then garnish the whole cheesecake with crushed Nilla Wafers.

- "Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler. Stir in 4 egg yolks and milk; blend well. Cook uncovered over boiling water, stirring constanty until thickened. Reduce heat and cook stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Spread small amount on bottom of 1-1/2 quart casserole. Cover with layer of NILLA wafers. Top with layer of sliced bananas. Pour about 1/3 of custard over bananas. Continue to layer wafers, bananas and custard to make 3 layers of each, ending with custard. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; gradually add remaining 1/4 cup sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Spoon on top of pudding, spreading to cover entire surface and sealing well to edges. Bake at 425F for 5 minutes or until delicately browned. Cool slightly or chill. Just before serving, garnish with banana slices, then NILLA wafers upright around edge of dish."
