Total Time 135 minutes

Prep Time 15 minutes

Cook Time 120 minutes

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 10

900 g pork neck (6 slice)
1 piece yellow bell pepper
1 piece green bell pepper
3 pieces garlic cloves
250 ml beer (lager)
100 ml sunflower oil
2 teaspoons sea salt
2 teaspoons ground pepper (freshly ground)
2 teaspoons dried marjoram
3 pieces springs of thyme

Steps:

  • Place the slices of meat, which we have previously seasoned with sea salt and freshly ground pepper. add two teaspoons of marjoram and a few sprigs of thyme. Add the garlic cloves, the biggest ones I cut in half.
  • Place the bell peppers on top of the slices of meat, which I just cut in half. Sprinkle with sunflower oil and lager beer.
  • Cover the tray with aluminum foil and place in the preheated oven at 240 degrees. Leave the tray in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  • Reduce the temperature to 150 degrees and bake from 1 hour when take off the foil. Put the tray back in the oven and let it fry for about 30-40 minutes until the meat has a golden colour and the beer evaporates.
  • Serve it hot and with mashed potatoes, possibly with a cabbage or summer salad.
