- Line a 15x10x1-in. pan with foil; butter the foil and set aside. In a large heavy saucepan, combine water, sugar, corn syrup and food coloring. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cover and cook for 3 minutes to dissolve sugar crystals. , Uncover; cook on medium-high heat, without stirring, until a candy thermometer reads 300° (hard-crack stage), about 25 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in cinnamon oil (keep face away from mixture as oil is very strong). Immediately pour onto prepared pan. Cool completely, about 45 minutes. , Break the candy into pieces using the edge of a metal mallet. Sprinkle both sides of candy with confectioners' sugar. Store in airtight container.

- Place a saucepan on your stove at a medium heat. Put milk and flour into the saucepan and stir until the mixture becomes a paste-like consistency.
- Add vanilla extract and stir into the mixture.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to fully cool before moving onto the next step.
- In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Once the flour-milk-vanilla mixture has reached room temperature, add the sugar-butter mixture into the saucepan. It is best to use an electric whisk to fully combine both of these mixtures together.
- Spread your icing onto cinnamon rolls and dig in!

In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; gradually beat into lard., In a small bowl, beat egg white on high speed until stiff peaks form. Gently whisk in sugar and egg yolk. Gradually beat into lard mixture. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently 8-10 times., Divide dough into 6 portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion into a 24-in.-long rope; cut diagonally into 1-in. pieces. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets.
