Spicy Hot Corn Recipe | Allrecipes image

Hot corn is always on the table for family gatherings on my husband's side. They love their spicy foods!

Number Of Ingredients 7

¼ cup butter
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 large clove garlic, minced
8 ounces cream cheese
2 (12 ounce) cans sweet corn, drained
2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno pepper
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Saute onion and garlic in hot butter until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir cream cheese with the onion mixture until melted and smooth; add corn and jalapeno pepper. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper; pour into a casserole dish.
  • Bake until beginning to brown around edges, about 35 minutes.

3-4 can(s) niblet corn (not the small cans), drained
1 package(s) cream cheese, low-fat
1 stick(s) butter or margarine
3-4 tablespoon(s) chopped jalapenos

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in crock pot and cook till cheese and butter are melted. You may alter the jalapenos to your taste. I normally let it sit in the pot for about 30-45 minutes.
