3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2 cups Cheerios™ cereal
1 1/2 cups Bugles® original corn snacks
1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts or 1 cup pretzels
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325°F. In very large bowl, mix cereals, snacks and peanuts.
  • In 1-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, honey and butter to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Spread in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • Bake 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool, about 15 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces. Store in airtight container.

5 cups Honey Nut Chex™ cereal
1 1/2 cups Bugles® original flavor snacks
1 cup small pretzel twists
1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal, snacks, pretzels and peanuts; set aside.
  • In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave corn syrup, honey and butter uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until butter is melted and mixture is boiling. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High 4 minutes, stirring each minute, until mixture is well coated and glazed. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Break into bite-size pieces. Store in airtight container.
