Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Butter a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Mix flour, salt, and baking soda together in a bowl.
- Combine butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Mix sugar mixture gradually into flour mixture. Spread 1/2 the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until partially firm, about 10 minutes. Leave oven on.
- Cover the partially baked dough with chocolate bars, breaking up as needed to fit. Drop remaining dough over the chocolate as evenly as possible.
- Bake in the hot oven until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes more. Let cool.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla until creamy.
- Add flour and salt; mix well.
- Pat dough into a 10x13" rectangle on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for about 20 minutes- until dough is set and lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and immediately top with the Hershey bar squares.
- When squares have softened (and it doesn't take long!) spread evenly and top with the finely chopped walnuts.
- Cut into bars while warm, as these are difficult to cut when cooled.

I had a bunch of milk chocolate bars leftover from Halloween. I decided to make a cookie and include Kahlúa. I combined a combination of a chocolate cookie dough, Kahlua, and milk chocolate candy bars. The combination of Kahlua with the milk chocolate together. The taste is outstanding .
