- PUT SLICED POTATOES IN A GLASS PIE PLATE N COVER WITH PLASTIC WRAP .... NOW NUKE FOR 4-5 MINUTES OR UNTIL POTATOES R COOKED. (B CAREFUL WEN REMOVING PLASTIC WRAP VERY HOT STEAM INSIDE) THEN PUT ASIDE FOR A MOMENT
- IN A LARGE PAN FRY OUT BACON PIECES IN 2 TBLSPN OF OLIVE OIL ...JUST UNTIL COOKD NOT CRISPY. REMOVE BACON N SAUTÉ ONIONS N CABBAGE IN DRIPPINGS. ADD SALT N PEPPER N RED PEPPER IF USING.
- COVER PAN FOR A FEW MINUTES ...TO SPEED UP COOKN OF CABBAGE.
- ADD POTATOES N CONTINUALLY STIR N TURNN OVER MIXTURE OCCASIONALLY SO IT CAN EQUALLY BROWN SLIGHTLY.
- ADD COOKED BACON PIECES N MIX .....ENJOY :)

Member's Choice! Sweet potatoes on the holidays are a staple side dish. These candied ones are simple to make and divine. They're filled with butter, sugar, and spice. By cooking in the cast iron, the potatoes are tender and sweet with little crispy edges. If you want to get real fancy, sprinkle with some chopped pecans.

Steps:
- In a large (cast iron) skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sliced potatoes to butter and toss to coat.
- Mix sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Add to potatoes. Toss to coat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 1 hour (covered), stirring occasionally until potatoes are fork-tender.

- 1. Place the onions and potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker. 2. Top with the beef stew meat and marrow bones. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper. Add the barley and kidney beans, then sprinkle on the paprika, cumin, turmeric and chili powder. 3. Drizzle the top of the cholent with honey, top with the kishka, then pour the water over the top to cover the beans. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat overnight, or for at least 8 hours.
