Having hard boiled eggs on hand for quick breakfast on the go or to add to salads and sandwiches makes busy weekdays so much easier. This foolproof stove top method for boiling eggs every time.

4 large eggs with no cracks
enough water to cover eggs

Steps:

  • Place the eggs in a medium pan, and cover with about an inch of cold water.
  • Turn heat on to medium and bring the water to a boil. When the water boils, shut the flame off and cover for 20 minutes, the steam will cook them. Run under cold water to let the eggs cool, then peel.

Steps:

  • Pour a cup and a half of cold water into the Ninja Foodi Cooking Pot and add your steamer basket or egg holder. Grab your eggs and load into the egg basket or the steamer basket. Place the lid on the Ninja Foodi, set the valve to sealing and press the pressure cook button twice, until it registers high pressure. Set the time to 7 minutes and press start.
  • When it beeps, manually release pressure, and load the eggs into a jug with cold water. With each egg press it down on a clean worktop like you are using a rolling pin. The shell will then perfectly come off the egg.
  • Once you have done all seven eggs, rinse them under a tap to remove any excess shell and then you’re done.
