Dill Pickle Hamburger Pizza Recipe: How to Make It image

My husband's favorite foods are pizza and cheeseburgers, so I combined the two in a pizza with mayo and dill pickle juice topping. People who try it always laugh in surprise because it's so good. —Angie Zimmerman, Eureka, Illinois

1/2 pound ground beef
1 prebaked 12-inch pizza crust
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup chopped dill pickle
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 to 3 tablespoons dill pickle juice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 3-4 minutes, breaking it into crumbles; drain., Meanwhile, place crust on an ungreased baking sheet or pizza pan. Mix ketchup and mustard; spread over crust. Add ground beef; bake 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; bake until cheese is bubbly and crust is lightly browned, 8-10 minutes longer., Top with lettuce, pickle and onion. Whisk mayonnaise and enough pickle juice to reach desired consistency; drizzle over pizza.

1 tsp Lawry's® Seasoned Salt
1/4 tsp McCormick® Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp McCormick® Black Pepper, Ground
1 tsp French’s® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
4 hamburger rolls

Steps:

  • Mix ground beef, onion, seasoned salt, garlic powder, pepper and Worcestershire sauce in large bowl. Shape into 4 patties.
  • Broil or grill over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F). Toast rolls on the grill, open-side down, about 30 seconds.
  • Serve burgers on toasted rolls with desired toppings and condiments.
