Number Of Ingredients 8

2 1/2 pounds 80/20 ground chuck
1 TBS garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 TBS onion powder
1 TBS Worcestershire
1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
2 TBS butter

Steps:

  • Make the spice mixture by mixing the Worcestershire, olive oil, garlic and onion powders, salt and pepper together.
  • Add the spice mixture to the ground chuck. Massage the mixture into the meat.
  • Create six tennis-sized balls with the meat.
  • Compress the meat with your thumbs to create patties.
  • Take a pinch of meat out of the center of each patty. Reserve the meat.
  • Add a cube of butter to each patty.
  • Replace the removed meat back to each patty, fully covering the butter.
  • Grill the patties on high heat. 6 minutes on the first side. 4-5 minutes on the second side.
  • Let meat rest for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite veggies and condiments.

This ground chuck burger combines 2 of your favorite sandwiches! Juicy beef patties and buttery onion are placed between gooey grilled cheese sandwiches.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1½ lbs ground chuck
¼ cup butter
8 white bread slices
8 American cheese slices
2 tbsp butter
1 sliced Large Onion

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate. Divide the beef in half, and form each half into a patty.
  • Grill the beef patties for 8 to 10 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
  • While the burgers are grilling, melt butter in a large skillet. Lay out 4 slices of bread, and top each slice with 2 slices of American cheese. Top each sandwich with a slice of bread to make 4 cheese sandwiches.
  • Pan-fry the sandwiches in the butter for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Set the sandwiches aside.
  • Melt the remaining butter in the skillet, and cook the sliced onions for about 8 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Top each grilled burger with half the onions, and place each between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches.
  • Serve and enjoy.
