1 lb. Ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 medium Onion Chopped
3 Tbsp. Olive oil
3 cloves Garlic minced (to taste)
2 Bay leaves
1 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Dried basil
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 6oz. can Tomato paste
1 15 oz. can Crushed tomatoes
2 15 oz. can Tomato sauce
2 14.5 oz. can Diced tomatoes
1 6 oz. can Black olives Drained & sliced (optional)
1 8 oz. package Mushrooms sliced (optional)

Steps:

"Remove the casing from the sausage and discard. In a large skillet, brown the sausage and ground beef over medium heat for 8 min. Stir meat and break apart. Add onion and garlic, sauté for 4 min. until meat is no longer pink. Drain and set aside. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over your favorite spaghetti or other pasta. "

1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1-1/2 cups water
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon grape jelly
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 ounces uncooked thin spaghetti, halved

Steps:

In a Dutch oven, cook beef, green pepper, onion and garlic over medium heat, breaking beef into crumbles, until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, 8-10 minutes; drain. , Add water, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, jelly and salt. Bring to a boil. Stir in spaghetti. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until spaghetti is tender, 6-8 minutes.
