Grilled fish fillet with pesto sauce | Allrecipes image

Moist, grilled fillets made with only one tablespoon of oil, and served with a fresh-tasting pesto sauce. Yum!

Yield 2 (200 gram) fillets

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 white fish fillets (200 g each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
pepper & salt
1 bunch fresh basil
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon pine nuts
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Heat the Philips Airfryer to 180C.
  • Brush the fish fillets with the oil and season with pepper & salt. Place in the cooking basket of the Airfryer and slide the basket into the Philips Airfryer. Set the timer for 8 minutes.
  • Pick the basil leaves and place them with the garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese and olive oil in a food processor or pestle and mortar. Pulse or grind the mixture until it turns into a sauce. Add some salt to taste.
  • Place the fish fillets on a serving plate and serve them drizzled with the pesto sauce.

Take simple white fish meat and turn it into a dish worthy of a happy tummy. We've gathered the most simple ingredients for a perfect meal.

4 oz skin-on whitefish fillets
4 tbsp for brushing olive oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
4 tbsp. minced garlic cloves
Grilled vegetables & steamed rice

Steps:

  • Combine the garlic and the soy sauce in a bowl.
  • Marinate the fillets in the marinade.
  • Afterwards, let the fillets sit (skin side up) in the marinade for 15-20 minutes.
  • Prepare the grill by setting it to high heat. Brush the fillets with the olive oil. Use a pastry brush to evenly cover the fillets.
  • Place the fillets skin side up so that the skinless side gets a nice grill.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip the fillets over.
  • Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the fish is lightly opaque. Serve alongside steamed rice & any grilled vegetable of your choice.
