This Air Fryer Grilled Cheese is ultra cheesy, extra crispy, and so easy to make! Enjoy it with a bowl of soup for a comforting meal.

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 slices sandwich bread (whole grain, white, sourdough... use your favorite)
4 teaspoons salted butter (softened to room temperature)
2 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
2 ounces sharp white cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer at 360° F for 4 minutes.
  • Spread one side of each slice of bread with the softened butter.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing one ounce of each type of cheese in between two slices of bread, with the butter sides facing the outside.
  • Air fry at 360° F for 3-5 minutes, or until the top slices of bread are golden brown and crispy. Then flip the sandwiches over and continue cooking for 2-4 more minutes, until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melty. Serve immediately.

This grilled cheese is an absolute MUST! Give it a fruity spin with fresh blackberries, brie cheese, and blackberry preserves.

Yield 2 1 sandwich each

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 (1/2-inch-thick) slicesHy-Vee Bakery classic 10 grain bread
2 tbsp. of Culinary Tours Marion blackberry preserves
1 (8-oz.) pkg. brie cheese
1 (8-oz.) container fresh blackberries
2 tbsp. of Hy-Vee unsalted butter

Steps:

  • 1.

    Spread 2 slices of bread with 1 tablespoon blackberry preserves each. Layer with 2-oz. sliced brie and 4-oz. fresh blackberries. Top with remaining 2-oz. brie and remaining bread slices.

  • 2.

    Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Place one sandwich in skillet and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Flip sandwich, cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Remove sandwich from skillet and keep warm. Repeat with remaining 1 tablespoon butter and sandwich.
