Easily remove food debris and burned bits from grill grates.

Disposable pie tin
2 cups + 1 1/2 cups of hot water
20-ounce bottle sprayer
1 tbsp Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds Liquid Cleaner
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp baking soda
1 metal scrubbie
Gloves

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • Put the pie tin on the grates and add 2 cups of hot water.
  • Close the lid of the grill and let the liquid steam for about 10 minutes.
  • Add the rest of the water, Sal Suds, vinegar, and baking soda to the spray bottle.
  • Shake to mix ingredients.
  • Use oven mitts to remove the pie tin from the grill interior.
  • Turn off the grill and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
  • Put on the gloves.
  • Liberally spray the grates with the cleaning solution.
  • Scrub with the metal scrubbie.
