BEEF LASAGNA RECIPE | MCCORMICK
No precooking is required for the lasagna noodles in this lasagna recipe with ground beef. The noodles cook to tender perfection while the dish bakes in the oven. If you’re not in the mood for a meaty beef lasagna recipe, try our traditional cheese lasagna.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown ground beef and sausage in large skillet on medium heat; stirring occasionally. Drain fat. Stir 4 cups spaghetti sauce into meat mixture. Reserve remaining spaghetti sauce for serving.
- Beat eggs in large bowl. Add ricotta cheese, 1 1/2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt and pepper; mix well.
- Spread about 1 cup of the meat sauce onto the bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish; top with 3 noodles. Spread half of the cheese mixture over the noodles. Repeat meat sauce, noodles and cheese layer once. Top with remaining noodles and meat sauce, making sure to cover noodles with sauce. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil.
- Bake 45 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 15 minutes longer or until noodles are tender. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting. Serve with reserved spaghetti sauce.

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of a 9"x13" casserole.
- Cover with a layer of noodles (3 or 4 noodles should be enough).
- Place ricotta in a bowl and add about 1/4 cup of water, stirring until blended.
- Spread 1/3 of this mixture over the pasta (you can use a cake spatula).
- Spread 1/3 of the remaining pasta sauce over the cheese.
- Spread 1/3 of the vegetables over the sauce.
- Sprinkle 1/3 of the mozzarella over the veggies.
- Repeat twice starting with the noodles and ending with the mozzarella.
- Cover and bake until the noodles are tender (35 to 40 minutes).
- Remove cover and bake 5 minutes until cheese starts to become golden.
- Remove from oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes before cutting into squares.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Without separating rolls, cut each package of rolls horizontally in half; arrange bottom halves in 2 greased 13x9-in. baking pans. Sprinkle each pan of rolls with 1 cup cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, 3-5 minutes., In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink and onion is tender, breaking beef into crumbles, 6-8 minutes; drain. Stir in tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until combined, 1-2 minutes., Spoon beef mixture evenly over rolls; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Top with bacon. Replace tops. For glaze, in a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Microwave, covered, on high until butter is melted, stirring occasionally. Pour over rolls; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake, uncovered, until golden brown and heated through, 20-25 minutes.
Freeze option: Cover and freeze unbaked sandwiches; prepare and freeze glaze. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Pour glaze over buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake sandwiches as directed, increasing time by 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and a thermometer inserted in center reads 165°.
