3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons baking soda
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
? cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups water
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup shortening
? cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup white sugar

Steps:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Mix the flour, 2 cups of the sugar, baking soda, 6 tablespoons of the cocoa, salt, vegetable oil, vinegar, 2 teaspoons vanilla, and the water together. Stir until just combined. Pour batter into on ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan.
Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes. Let cake cool than ice.
To Make Icing: Beat together the butter or margarine, vegetable shortening, 1 cup sugar, milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Continue beating for 10 minutes. Spread over cooled cake.

1/2 cup(s) crisco shortening

1 box(es) instant vanilla pudding
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 cup(s) 10x sugar

Steps:

For the Cake Mix all ingredients together beat with a mixer for 2 minutes.bake in two greased 8" or 9" cake pans on 350 degrees for 30 minutes. cool for 4 hrs. better yet to make the day before.
