Grab a bite of these flavorful garlic knots! They make delectable appetizers for big parties, and are all cooked easy in the air fryer.

Number Of Ingredients 9

Olive oil spray
1 cup or white whole wheat flour all purpose flour
¾ tsp less for table salt kosher salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup drained of any excess liquid, like Fage fat free Greek yogurt
2 tsp butter
3 chopped garlic cloves
1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp finely chopped Fresh Parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, then whisk well.
  • Add the yogurt, then mix with a spoon until incorporated.
  • Knead with dry hands about 15 times. Add more flour as needed, then roll into a ball.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, then roll each piece into worm like strips, about 9 inches long.
  • Tie each breadstick into a “knot-like” ball; then place in the air fryer. Spray the top with olive oil.
  • Set the air fryer for 11 to 12 minutes.
  • Cook in batches without overcrowding for 11 to 12 minutes, or until golden.
  • Let them cool for 5 minutes.
  • In a medium nonstick skillet, melt the butter.
  • Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes, until golden.
  • Toss the knots in the skillet with the melted butter and garlic.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, serve, and enjoy!

These air fryer garlic knots are tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. Make a batch in 20 minutes for an easy addition to any family meal.

Number Of Ingredients 6

8 ounce can crescent roll sheet
4 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 300 degrees F.
  • Unroll crescent dough onto a large cutting board into a flat rectangle.
  • Using a pizza cutter, cut the crescent dough in half the short way, and then into 1-inch strips.
  • Tie/fold each strip into a knot.
  • Place 5 to 6 knots (or more depending on your air fryer) at a time in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the knots from the air fryer and place them on a cooling rack. Continue cooking until all are cooked.
  • In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  • Brush the melted butter mixture onto the knots, then top with grated Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve warm.
  • I use the Cosori 8.5 quart air fryer, so depending on your air fryer size you may be able to cook more knots at a time.
  • These can also be baked in the oven at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
