Crispy oven baked chicken wings in a garlic butter sauce.

2 pounds chicken wings, separated into wingettes and drumettes
4 TBSP unsalted butter, melted
1 TBSP garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • 2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper then lay the wings on the parchment paper in a single layer at least 1-inch apart from each other.
  • 3. In a small bowl mix together the melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • 4. Brush HALF the butter mixture on the top side of the wings and set the remaining butter to the side for later.
  • 5. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  • 6. Take the wings out of the oven. Flip the wings over then brush the remaining butter mixture on top of the wings.
  • 7. Return the wings to the oven and bake for 15 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
