- ONLY USE FOR BEST TASTE WILD CAUGHT SHRIMP NO FARM RAISED SHRIMP I don't care if you use cold, warm or hot water!
- Start cooking shrimp.
- The water may never come to a boil.
- But constantly stir srhrimp.
- Don't worry about the water boiling or time, it does not matter!
- When you see 1 or 2 shrimp float!
- drain immediately and have an ice bath waiting, to shock the shrimp and stop cooking process.
- Drain well and chill 1 hour before serving!
- If eating hot serve right after cooking.
- If you follow this method you will only serve the best.
- I have been following my recipe for over 20 years and it is fool proof.
- I have never seen anyone use this recipe, BUT LET ME SAY THAT IF YOU TRY THIS, YOU WILL NEVER COOK IT ANY OTHER WAY!

SHRIMP CREOLE RECIPE | EASY FRESH SHRIMP RECIPE

You may want to make extra; this easy Shrimp Creole recipe is perfect for a crowd!

- 1. In a small bowl or ramekin, stir together the salt and spices; set aside. 2. Melt the butter in a Dutch oven set over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, bell pepper, tomato, and a generous pinch of salt, sweating until softened, 6-8 minutes. 3. Add the garlic and continue to cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the broth, tomato sauce, sugar, hot sauce, and bay leaves; bring to a simmer. 4. Once simmering, stir in the spice mix. Reduce to a gentle simmer and cook until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally, 10-15 minutes. 5. When the sauce is ready, add the shrimp, gently stirring to combine. Cover and cook over low heat until the shrimp are just cooked through, stirring a few times, 8-10 minutes. 6. When ready, season to taste with salt and pepper. 7. To serve, divide the rice and shrimp creole between bowls.

- Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Rinse shrimp and set aside. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt. Add the shrimp the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain well and place in a large pasta bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of cheese, garlic, olive oil, snipped rosemary, salt and black pepper and toss until well coated. Sprinkle evenly with the 2 tablespoons of remaining cheese and garnish with rosemary sprigs, if desired.
