Homemade French "Fried" Onions Topping is a delicious homemade AND baked alternative to those store-bought french fried onions. So good and easy to make!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Combine onion rings (make sure they are separated), flour, panko crumbs and seasoned salt in a large mixing bowl; toss to combine and coat evenly.
- Transfer the onion rings to previously prepared baking sheet.
- Generously spray the onions with olive oil cooking spray.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring frequently.
- Remove from oven and let stand 2 to 3 minutes, or until ready to use.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and dry mustard until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, shredded bread, onion, egg, bouillon, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1/3 cup of the ketchup mixture until well mixed. Form into a loaf and place in a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Bake 1 hour. Pour off fat. Pour reserved ketchup mixture over loaf. Bake 10 minutes more.
