3 medium eggs
397 g/14 oz condensed milk
Water
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Brown or white sugar for dusting

Steps:

  • Once you have emptied the condensed milk tin, fill it halfway or a little more with water. Pour the content into the container together with the condensed milk and mix thoroughly.The water will help to mix well. Add a tablespoon of ground cinnamon and the zest of a whole lemon to the bowl. Mix all the ingredients until they are homogeneous.
  • To combine the ingredients and obtain a mixture as homogeneous as possible, you have two options: use a whisk or an electric mixer. If you have the latter, we recommend using this appliance as it will make this French toast with condensed milk recipe even easier.

2/3 cup cream cheese, softened
20 diagonal slices French bread (3/4 inch thick)
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup orange juice
8 large eggs
1-1/2 cups 2% milk
2 teaspoons grated orange zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Assorted fresh fruit, optional
Maple syrup, optional

Steps:

  • Spread cream cheese over 10 bread slices; top with remaining bread.
