2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsps McCormick® Cinnamon Extract divided
4 slices bread
1 cup pancake syrup

Steps:

  • Beat eggs in shallow dish or pie plate. Add milk, sugar and 1 teaspoon of the flavor; whisk until well blended.
  • Dip each bread slice in egg mixture, turning to coat evenly on both sides.
  • Cook bread slices on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides.
  • Mix pancake syrup and remaining 1 teaspoon flavor in microwavable bowl or measuring cup. Microwave on MEDIUM 30 seconds or until heated through. Serve with French Toast.

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon maple flavoring

  • In a small saucepan, combine the sugars and water. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in maple flavoring. Refrigerate leftovers.

Pour over bread; soak for 2 minutes, turning once. If desired, coat bread with cornflake crumbs on all sides. , Place in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Freeze until firm, about 45 minutes. Transfer to an airtight freezer container and store in the freezer., To use frozen French toast sticks: Place desired number on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 425° for 8 minutes. Turn; bake 10-12 minutes longer or until golden brown. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar if desired. Serve with syrup.
