A delicious, quick and easy way to prepare your pork chops - and it makes it's own sidedish!

2 pork chops
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 (6 ounce) package uncooked wild rice
3 cups water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Brown pork chops in a medium skillet over medium heat. In a medium bowl combine the soup mix and rice. Mix together and spread in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Lay browned chops on top of rice. Pour water over all, gently. Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until internal temperature of the pork has reached 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

4 bone-in pork chops
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
⅓ cup milk
1 tablespoon dry sherry

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the pork chops, 5 to 8 minutes per side. Mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, milk, and sherry together in a bowl and pour over the pork chops; cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer until pork chops are tender and no longer pink inside, 15 to 20 minutes.
