Strawberry syrup: Toss strawberries and remaining sugar in a bowl; let sit at room temperature until the sugar dissolves, about 45 minutes. Strain strawberry mixture; reserve the strawberry syrup and berries separately. Lemonade: Combine lemon juice, lemon syrup, salt and 2 c. cold water in a pitcher. To make each drink, place about 1 T. strawberry syrup in a tall glass; fill with ice; pour lemonade; top with a few reserved strawberries and a lemon slice. 6 servings.
