BUFFALO CHICKEN WING SAUCE - ALLRECIPES
If you know someone from Buffalo, they know someone who told them the secret ingredients to the Anchor Bar's famous Buffalo chicken wings. I know people from Buffalo. This is my version, as described to me many years ago, over almost as many beers.

Steps:
- Combine the hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a pot and place over medium heat. Bring to a simmer while stirring with a whisk. As soon as the liquid begins to bubble on the sides of the pot, remove from heat, stir with the whisk, and set aside for use.

This robust creamy dip tastes like Buffalo Chicken Wings but without the mess. Serve hot with celery sticks or veggies.

Yield 32 2 tablespoons each

Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Combine cream cheese, buffalo sauce, salad dressing, chicken and crumbled cheese in a 1-quart baking dish.
- 3. Bake 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through. Garnish as desired. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
- 4. Reduced Calorie Recipe: Substitute neufchatel cheese for the cream cheese and low fat options for the salad dressing and blue cheese.
- 5. Slow Cooker Method: Combine ingredients as directed above. Place mixture into small slow cooker. Cover pot. Heat on HIGH setting for 1 1/2 hours until hot and bubbly or on LOW setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Stir.
- 6. Tailgating Tip: Prepare dip ahead and place in heavy disposable foil pan. Place pan on grill and heat dip until hot and bubbly.

This is a great dip, the only changes I made was to add 1 cup of hot sauce instead of 1/3 cup,and a extra chicken breast, it is like having buffalo wings without the mess.
