1 lb boneless veal steaks
1 lb pork steak
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups cracker crumbs

Steps:

  • Cut steaks in 1 inch cubes.
  • Mix egg and milk.
  • Alternate pieces of veal and pork on 6 skewers.
  • Dip in egg mix then crumbs.
  • Brown in hot oil.
  • Put in baking pan.
  • Add 1 inch water.
  • Cover and bake at 350* for 40 minutes.

1 quart(s) sweet milk (whole milk)
1 pint(s) white corn meal
3 - eggs
1 tablespoon(s) butter, melted (or margarine)
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt

Steps:

  • Bring milk to a full boil, stir in corn meal slowly. Cool. Add well beaten egg yolks, melted butter and salt. Add stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in a moderate (350 - 375 degree) oven until well done.
