The fact that they are both delicious and extremely easy makes them a big winner in my book! Hope you like them, too! These would be a wonderful addition to a christmas cookie tray, or for fall school parties (if there are no peanut allergies in the class).

Number Of Ingredients 3

12 ounces butterscotch chips
3 tablespoons peanut butter
5 ounces chow mein noodles

Steps:

  • Melt chips and peanut butter in microwave (about 2 minutes in mine, stir halfway through).
  • Stir in chow mein noodles and drop onto wax paper (a heaping tablespoon per haystack).
  • Enjoy!

A no bake treat recipe made with chow mein noodles and marshmallows coated with melted morsels and peanut butter to satisfy the sweet tooth

1/2 cup premier white OR semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup La Choy® Chow Mein Noodles
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows

Steps:

  • Place morsels and peanut butter in large microwave-safe container. Heat in microwave on HIGH 1 minute or until almost melted, stirring after 45 seconds. Then stir until smooth.
  • Add chow mein noodles and marshmallows. Stir until well coated.
  • Drop mixture by spoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined plate. Cool in freezer 10 minutes or until firm. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

I find that I have to be careful when melting the butterscotch because it seems to scorch easily, so take care — this is an essential ingredient! Also, these are best enjoyed in the winter because they seem to melt and not taste as great in the warmer weather.
