Feb 26, 2015 · Startup mpd's = 6,000. Green beans phase 20 minutes at 400* = 8,000. Pork sirloin phase 20 minutes at 450* = 9,000. Total mpd's to date = 23,000. It took 21 charcoal logs (out of 24) to fill the firebox. This equals about 17.5 lbs. I broke the logs into 3 or 4 pieces and dumped them in the firebox.
