Espresso Fudge – Mildly Meandering image

Espresso Fudge – The easiest fudge recipe ever! Made with just 4 simple ingredients, this fudge recipe is the perfect combination of chocolate and espresso.

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 cups chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons instant espresso powder

Steps:

  • Line an 8"x8" pan with aluminum foil and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients. Stir continuously until chocolate chips are fully melted.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a the lined pan and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate for 3+ hours or until fudge is completely firm.
  • Remove fudge from pan and slice into pieces before serving.

3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup sea salt
1/2 cup espresso powder (I used Illy espresso powder for this recipe)
4 tbsp Black Pepper (ground)
4 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Onion Powder
2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tbsp Smoked Paprika

Steps:

  • In a container, like a mason jar or weck jar place all of the ingredients. Cover and shake well. The dry rub can be stored in a cool place for up to 2 months.

Add sugar and whisk until the mixture resembles damp sand. Spoon half of the sugar mixture into a 90-compartment silicone mini-ice-cube tray (Casabella, $12 for set of two; amazon.com). Using a rubber spatula, spread the mixture, pressing it tightly into the tray's compartments. Scrape away any excess sugar mixture and return to bowl. Repeat with remaining sugar mixture and a second tray. Place trays on a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes. Allow cubes to rest until hardened, about 8 hours, before carefully releasing from trays.
