  • Place ground coffee in the filter of a drip coffeemaker. Add water; brew according to manufacturer's instructions. Serve immediately in espresso cups with lemon twists if desired.

2 ounces vodka
2 ounces coffee liqueur
2 shots espresso (about 2 ounces)
1 ounce simple syrup (see Tip)
6 coffee beans for garnish

Steps:

  • Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso and simple syrup, if using. Cover and shake until chilled. Strain into two cocktail glasses. Garnish with 3 coffee beans placed on the foam of each cocktail, if desired.
