Steps:

  • In a bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, combine peanut butter and sugar; fold in egg whites. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Flatten slightly with a fork. Bake at 325° for 15-20 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Beat egg whites and cream of tarter until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly until stiff. Fold in peanut butter until just mixed.
  • Drop teaspoonfuls of the batter onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 25 minutes. Remove from the cookie sheet at once and cook completely on racks.
