Breakfast Pull-Apart Bacon and Egg Bread Recipe | Allrecipes image

A savory take on the typical sweet pull-apart bread. This one uses eggs and bacon and makes a great breakfast or a great side to a breakfast for dinner meal! Canned biscuits make it quick and easy to prepare!

6 slices turkey bacon, cut into small pieces
butter-flavored cooking spray
2 (16 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough
2 eggs
¼ cup skim milk
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Place turkey bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®) with cooking spray, making sure to thoroughly coat the bottom and sides.
  • Open cans of biscuit dough and separate into individual biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 6 small pieces.
  • Beat eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  • Dunk biscuit pieces into the egg mixture and layer into the fluted tube pan. Top each layer with a sprinkle of turkey bacon and Cheddar cheese. Pour any remaining egg mixture over the dough. Spray the top generously with cooking spray.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until top is browned, about 40 minutes. Allow to cool until Cheddar cheese is set and the pan is easily handled, about 10 minutes. Invert onto a plate.

French bread stuffed with all the morning staples: eggs, hash browns, ham and cheese. Start your morning right with this easy pull-apart bread!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 loaf French bread, 10-12 inches
8 oz deli sliced ham
12 extra thin slices sharp cheddar cheese
8 oz hash browns, cooked (can use Cascadian Farm™ Frozen Organic Hash Browns variety)
3 eggs
1 tablespoon milk

Steps:

  • Slice the bread in 3/4 inch slices, being careful not to slice through the bottom of the bread. Place the bread on a sheet of foil large enough to wrap around the bread entirely.
  • Stuff each slice with ham, cheese, and hash browns, being careful not to break apart the loaf of bread. Whisk together the eggs and milk. Slowly drizzle over the bread.
  • Wrap the foil tightly around the bread and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  • Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the foil and serve.
