This is really yummy fudge. It's creamy, easy and tastes great! There are lots of things you can add to this recipe!

3?¾ cups confectioners' sugar
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Grease a 9x5 inch pan. Set aside.
  • In a 3 quart saucepan, over very low heat, mix together confectioners sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, and salt until mixture is creamy.
  • Pour quickly into greased 9x5 inch pan. Refrigerate until firm, then cut into squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

4 cups chocolate chips, milk chocolate, or semi-sweet (or a combination)
2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans), optional

Steps:

  • Prepare a square 8"x8" pan with parchment paper, leaving extra off the sides.
  • Chop nuts and set aside.
  • Add chocolate chips and milk to a heavy saucepan.
  • Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until chips are almost completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir until chocolate is smooth and creamy.
  • Add salt and vanilla and stir until combined.If using, stir in chopped nuts until well combined.
  • Spread evenly into the prepared pan with an offset spatula.
  • Chill for 2-3 hours or until set.Lift easy fudge from pan using parchment paper sling.
  • Cut into squares with a knife.
  • Store homemade easy fudge in an airtight container.

  • Line a 17cm square tin with baking paper. Place all the ingredients in a large, non-stick saucepan over a low heat, and stir frequently to dissolve the sugar and melt the butter.

    Once the sugar has dissolved, turn up the heat to medium and bring the mixture to the boil, continuously stirring. Reduce the heat slightly and let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes, stirring continuously, making sure the mixture doesn’t catch at the edges of the pan.

    Remove the mixture from the heat and continue to stir for about 10 minutes. The mixture will thicken a lot during this time. It’s a lot of elbow grease, but it will be worth it! Alternatively, place the mixture in a KitchenAid and beat it for a few minutes, until thick and starting to set.
