This recipe is a combination of my two favourite meatball recipes. One of them being Recipe #143735. Don't be fooled by the long list of ingredients, these are very easy to make!

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 20 minutes

Yield 20-25 meatballs, 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground medium Italian sausage
3/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Mix all ingredients together well using your hands.
  • Shape into 15-20 balls.
  • Place balls in an ungreased pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the juices run clear.
  • Serve with your favourite pasta sauce, over spaghetti noodles, with a glass of red wine (optional)!

In a large bowl, combine the bread, eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley and remaining salt, garlic and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into thirty-six 1-1/2-in. meatballs. , Preheat oven to 400°. Place meatballs on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake, uncovered, until no longer pink, 20 minutes; drain.
