- In a large skillet, cook beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in soup and pepper. Cook until heated through, 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat. Stir in sour cream; cook until heated through. Serve with noodles. If desired, top with chopped fresh parsley.

- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, add onions, garlic, and mushrooms; saute until onion is golden brown. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Stir 2 cups hot water, bouillon cubes, and tomato paste into meat mixture. Stir together 1 1/2 cups cold water and flour; stir into pan. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 1 hour.

I absolutely love this recipe because it gets most of its creaminess from cream cheese instead of sour cream, but it still has a zing from the dollop of sour cream stirred in at the end.
