Steps:
- Add the water, agave syrup and salt to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until fully incorporated and homogenous. If using citric acid, add it while the mixture is still warm to the touch. Let cool to room temperature.
- Using a juicer or a citrus press, extract the fresh lime and orange juices.
- Add the fresh juice to the cooled syrup, and stir.
- Bottle and refrigerate. Will keep for up to one week (with citric acid).

- Combine the lime juice, lemon juice, Triple Sec, tequila, and ice in a blender and puree. Place extra ice in a cocktail shaker. Fill with margarita mix, shake well, and strain into glasses.
