This is an adopted recipe that received rave reviews when I tested it at a local party. I served it with Triscuits, as it is a hearty dip and needs a sturdy cracker.

1 (2 1/2 ounce) jar dried beef, finely chopped
3 -4 green onions, chopped (i like a lot of onion in mine)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/4-1/2 cup sour cream (add enough to make a creamy consistency)
1 tablespoon garlic powder, i just keep sprinkling and mixing until i get the flavor desired

Steps:

Mix everything together with a mixer, serve with Wheat thins or Triscuits.

1 carton (16 ounces) French onion dip
1 package (2-1/2 ounces) dried beef, chopped
Ridged potato chips

Steps:

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and dip until blended. Stir in beef. Serve with chips. Refrigerate leftovers.

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bell pepper, 1/4 cup dried beef, 1 green onion, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and cayenne. Season with salt and pepper. Form into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours. On a plate, combine remaining ¾ cup dried beef and remaining green onion. Unwrap cheese ball and roll into dried beef mixture to coat the outside. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with crackers.
