SLOW COOKER DR. PEPPER BBQ RIBS - ONLY 3 INGREDIENTS!
Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs, slow cooked in Dr. Pepper, then baked to caramelize the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce.

Steps:
- Place ribs in the bottom of your slow cooker, pour 1 can of soda over them. Cover and slow cook for 7 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with foil then place a wire rack over the top.
- Combine 3/4 cup BBQ sauce with 1/2 cup Dr. Pepper soda.
- Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker, placing on rack. Brush tops with sauce. Bake for 15 minutes, flip and brush other side. Bake 15 minutes more.
- Serve remaining sauce at the table.

These roasted brussels sprouts get a fair amount of spice from the crushed red pepper flakes, which cuts through the acidity and sweetness of the glaze, but if you’re spice-averse, feel free to leave them out!

Steps:
- Place a rack in bottom third of oven and set a rimmed baking sheet on top; preheat oven to 450°F. Toss brussels sprouts and oil in a large bowl; season with salt and black pepper.
- Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Using tongs, arrange brussels sprouts, cut side down, on baking sheet. Roast on bottom rack until tender and deeply browned, 20–25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, bring honey to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring often, until honey is a deep amber color but not burnt (it will be foamy), about 3 minutes. Remove from heat; add vinegar and red pepper flakes, if using, and whisk until sauce is smooth (it will bubble quite aggressively when you first add the vinegar). Set saucepan over medium heat, add butter and remaining ½ tsp. salt, and cook, whisking constantly, until glaze is glossy, bubbling, and slightly thickened, about 4 minutes.
- Transfer brussels sprouts to a large bowl. Add glaze and toss to coat. Transfer to a platter and top with scallions and lemon zest.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean., About 15 minutes before cake is done, prepare glaze. In a small saucepan, bring cola to a boil; cook 12-15 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Stir in butter and cocoa until butter is melted; remove from heat. Add confectioners' sugar; stir until smooth. Pour immediately over hot cake.

- Heat the brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and 1/2 cup soda in a small saucepan until the sugar is melted and the mixture is bubbly. Reduce the heat and simmer until thick, 7 to 8 minutes. Pour the remaining soda into a 6-quart slow cooker. Stud the ham in several places with the cloves, then place the ham in the slow cooker. Brush the ham with 1/4 cup of the glaze (refrigerate the remaining glaze until ready to use). Cover the slow cooker and cook on low until the ham is hot throughout, 5 to 6 hours. A few minutes before the ham is ready, reheat the remaining glaze until warmed, about 3 minutes. Remove the ham from the slow cooker and brush with the remaining glaze. Carve the ham.
