Dr. Oz's no-bake energy bars are designed to help you fight off the mid-day slump! The combination of protein, fiber and antioxidants will stabilize your blood sugar and rev up your energy for hours.

Number Of Ingredients 1

1 cup quick-cook oats 1/3 cup dried tart cherries 1/2 cup all-natural peanut butter 3 tbsp honey 1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • Mix the ingredients together in a bowl.Spread the mixture in a pan and refrigerate for 2 hours.Slice and enjoy! Return uneaten bars to fridge for storage.

Try out this protein bar recipe for a delicious breakfast or snack when you're on the go!

Number Of Ingredients 1

1/2 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup protein powder 3/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 cup brown sugar or sucanat 1/2 banana Pinch of salt

Steps:

  • 1. If your peanut butter is from the fridge, gently warm it until it is a stirrable consistency. 2. In a mixing bowl, stir the peanut butter and applesauce until they form a smooth paste. 3. In a separate bowl, combine all remaining ingredients and mix well. 4. Pour the dry ingredients over the peanut butter mixture and stir until evenly incorporated. It will be a little crumbly, so transfer the crumbly dough to a gallon-size plastic bag. 5. From inside the bag, form one big ball. Still in the bag, roll out with a rolling pin. Cut bars (or portion bars into individual bags and shape them) and put in the freezer to firm.

  •  1. Line an 8-inch square pan with wax paper. 2. Roughly chop roasted almonds and combine in a bowl with oats, raisins, and salt. 3. Pulse pitted dates in a food processor to make a coarse paste; add to the bowl 4. Heat peanut butter and honey over medium heat for one minute. Whisk in vanilla extract until smooth. 5. Add mixture to the bowl, mix to combine, and then press firmly into the prepared pan. 6. Freeze for four minutes to set. Pick the bar up by the wax paper, transfer to a cutting board, and cut into 18 bars. Store in airtight container. Makes 18 bars.
