Fried mushrooms are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with salt and pepper, um, it’s a fragrant

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 flower Mushroom
2 pcs egg
Right amount corn starch
1 scoop salt
a little black pepper powder

Steps:

  • Home-grown black shimeji mushrooms can be eaten in a week
  • Tear the mushrooms into small strips, wash and control dry according to personal preference
  • Find a clean basin and beat in the eggs, add salt, pepper, and starch to mix evenly the amount of starch. Add in portions during stirring until it becomes a paste and relatively viscous. Then add the mushroom juice and mix well.
  • Heat the pan with cold oil to 50% hot, add the mushrooms on a low fire and fry them thoroughly. After all is fried, turn the high heat and re-fry. Re-fry the mushrooms to achieve a crispy effect. Re-fry them until golden brown, remove them, control the oil, and serve them on a plate. Just a little bit of crushed black pepper for garnish

These Fried Mushrooms are coated with a somewhat spicy seasoned panko bread crumb mixture and fried to crispy golden perfection. Beyond a doubt they are the best fried mushroom recipe I have ever tried. They always get rave reviews and they are great for movie night, game day and cocktails with friends. I love to serve them with Chili Cheese Dip, Cowboy Caviar, and Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip.

1 1/4 cup(s) panko breadcrumbs
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) old bay seasoning
1 teaspoon(s) marjoram
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) buttermilk
1 1/2 pound(s) white button mushrooms stems trimmed
1/2 cup(s) flour
cooking oil

Steps:

  • In a small bowl combine the bread crumbs, Old Bay seasoning, marjoram, garlic powder, and salt. Add the buttermilk to another small bowl.
  • Wash and dry your mushrooms thoroughly. Add the mushrooms to a zipper storage bag. Add the flour and shake to coat. Dip them in the buttermilk and roll them through the seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat 1 1/4 inches oil in a Dutch oven, heavy pot or fryer to 375 degrees. Carefully add a few of the breaded mushrooms at a time frying until golden brown; 2-3 minutes. Remove to paper towels to drain.
