6 ounces (3/4 cup) cream cheese, softened completely
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, use a mixer to cream together the cream cheese, butter, both sugars and vanilla extract.
  • Add flour, baking soda and salt and slowly mix until the dough is formed. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop 2 tablespoon balls of dough onto the baking sheet (8 at a time) and flatten slightly with your palm.
  • Bake for 11 -12 minutes.*Cookies are done when the edges are set and the centers are soft and slightly under baked.
  • Let cookies cool and set on the baking sheet for 15 - 20 minutes.

1 cup margarine
¾ cup white sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2?½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray (I use butter flavored) and set aside.
  • Combine cream cheese, margarine, and sugars. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix.
  • Bake 15-18 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. Enjoy!
