Number Of Ingredients 11

2 cups water
1 package (3 ounces) chicken ramen noodles
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (14-3/4 ounces) cream-style corn
1 cup 2% milk
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup cubed cooked bacon
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 tablespoon minced chives

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Break noodles into large pieces. Add noodles and contents of seasoning packet to water. Reduce heat to medium. Cook, uncovered, for 2-3 minutes or until noodles are tender. , Stir in the corn, cream-style corn, milk, onion and curry; heat through. Stir in the cheese, bacon, parsley and chive until blended. If desired, top with additional cheddar cheese and minced fresh chives.

1-1/2 pounds potatoes (about 3 medium), peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
4 cups fresh or frozen corn, thawed (about 20 ounces)
4 cups cubed deli ham
2 small onions, chopped
4 celery ribs, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups whole milk
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Place the first 8 ingredients in a 6-qt. slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 8-10 hours or until potatoes are tender., In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and milk until smooth; stir into soup. Cook, covered, on high 20-30 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Add cheese, sour cream and parsley. Stir until cheese is melted.
