This is a delicious short cut method to prepare chocolate fondue. It's smooth, sweet, and creamy. We enjoyed it with strawberries, marshmallows, and angel food cake. So good, you might find yourself licking the bowl. Easy to make if you're having guests over and need a last-minute dessert.

1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
1 cup(s) chocolate chips
1 teaspoon(s) pure vanilla extract
1-2 teaspoon(s) water for thinning

Steps:

  • In a microwave-safe medium bowl add condensed milk, chocolate, and vanilla.
  • Microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, stirring after the first minute to incorporate all ingredients.
  • Stir until all chocolate is melted and smooth. If needed to be thinner add one teaspoon of water and stir.
  • Serve with your favorite fruits or whatever you like to dip!

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1-1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
Assorted fresh fruit or cubed pound cake

Steps:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl or heavy saucepan, combine the milk, chocolate chips, cream and vanilla. Heat just until chips are melted, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a fondue pot and keep warm. Serve with fruit or cake.
